Westpac and FIS invest in conversational AI firm Kasisto

Conversational AI chatbot developer Kasisto has raised $15.5 million in a Sequence C extension led by its shopper Westpac and fintech large FIS.

BankSouth, one other KAI shopper, joined the extension, which brings the Sequence C to $31 million.

Kasisto’s KAI digital expertise platform is utilized by a number of FS giants, together with JP Morgan, Commonplace Chartered and TD, to speak with hundreds of thousands of shoppers around the globe throughout a number of channels in several languages.

The agency will use the newest funding for product improvement, strategic go-to-market initiatives, and the enlargement of partnerships with monetary providers suppliers.

Scott Collary, group government, buyer providers and know-how, Westpac, says: “Kasisto’s know-how has enabled us to evolve from conventional chatbots to a complicated, human-like conversational expertise, unified for the primary time below a single AI orchestration platform.

“This implies buyer queries will probably be answered extra effectively with lowered wait instances and fewer hand-offs.”
