Standard Chartered names David Rego global head, payments, transaction banking

Customary Chartered has appointed David Rego as World Head of Funds, Transaction Banking, with fast impact.

He’ll proceed in his present function as World Head of Liquidity, Deposits and Escrow Options, along with his successor to be introduced in the end.

On this function, David will drive the transformation of the Financial institution’s funds enterprise and lead the staff within the creation of market-leading options that meet the evolving wants of shoppers. He continues to be primarily based in Singapore and experiences to Philip Panaino, World Head of Money, Transaction Banking.

David brings over 25 years of money and liquidity administration expertise throughout product, expertise, and operations, together with a deep understanding of shopper wants into this management function. He joined the Financial institution in 2007 and in his present function, was chargeable for increasing the liquidity administration answer proposition, rising the escrow enterprise, and constructing our third-party cash options. Previous to this, he was the World Head of Money Product Improvement and Regional Money Product Head for Africa.
