Blockchain-based funds agency Ripple has registered an curiosity in buying property belonging to bankrupt crypto lender Celsius.

Celsius filed for Capter 11 chapter safety in July, a month after suspending all withdrawals, Swap, and transfers between accounts.

The agency, which was valued at $3.25 billion on a $750 million Collection B financing spherical in November, allowed its 1.7 million customers to deposit their bitcoin, ethereum and tether and obtain weekly curiosity funds.

In response to Reuters, Ripple attorneys submitted filings final week with the chapter courtroom asking to be represented within the proceedings.

A Ripple spokesperson informed the newswire: “We’re curious about studying about Celsius and its property, and whether or not any might be related to our enterprise.” He supplied no touch upon whether or not the corporate wished to accumulate Celsius.
