It sounds very very like there’s a single-player Apex Legends sport on the horizon, judging from a number of jobs being marketed by Respawn Leisure. Hold on – stompy robotic shooter Titanfall 2 was the one single-player sport in the identical universe as Apex thus far. May this be Titanfall 3 or one thing else totally?

Effectively, there isn’t a lot to go on. Listed solely as “Apex Universe FPS Incubation” in its early levels, Respawn is at the moment trying to find a Senior Setting Artist, Onerous Floor Artist, Senior Skybox Artist, Senior Gameplay Engineer and Senior Engine/Techniques Engineer for the venture. The job listings say that, whether or not Apex or Titanfall, the hirees shall be serving to “construct a model new Respawn single-player journey”. That’s your lot, for now. Respawn mentioned again in 2019 that their plans to assist Apex Legends meant future Titanfall video games could be a means off.

Apex Legends began out as a spin-off of Respawn and EA’s Titanfall collection. 2016’s Titanfall 2 was the one with the single-player marketing campaign, which individuals typically thought was superb, really. Adam (RPS in peace) had a blast taking part in it for his Titanfall 2 evaluate. “Although I would wish to see the studio fleshing out the world of its personal IP,” he mentioned, “there’s little or no in what’s nice concerning the single-player marketing campaign that depends on the specifics of Titanfall’s backstory and setting. The Titans are swell, even when they’re the worst factor concerning the sport.” Respawn have definitely fleshed out that world’s backstory since Apex Legends launched.

We’ll have to attend and see for extra particulars on what this new Apex Legends sport is past a single-player expertise. We’ll let you understand as quickly as we hear any extra. Within the meantime, why not try Ollie’s Apex Legends characters tier checklist?
