Microsoft is launching a brand new “Hardwear” clothes assortment that features a Home windows XP T-shirt. For those who’ve all the time needed to wander the streets with the Home windows XP bliss wallpaper strapped to your again, now could be your time. The nine-piece assortment of T-shirts, hats, sweats, jackets, and pants is a part of a collaboration between Supervsn founder Gavin Mathieu and Microsoft. It’s Microsoft’s first capsule assortment of clothes and merchandise, and the software program maker clearly needed to create a classy nerd vibe with its collaboration.

“The gathering is reflective of the Normcore model, a way of life aesthetic that places the concentrate on people and never on the clothes they put on,” explains Amanda O’Neal, director of multicultural and social communications at Microsoft. “Every bit is intentional, and there may be which means behind every merchandise in Hardwear.”

The normcore vary additionally contains an MS Paint T-shirt that mimics the unique colour palette of the app and a “Hardwear” hat with Microsoft’s Nineties brand colorings.

This isn’t Microsoft’s first experiment with clothes, although.
