Microsoft Enables iPhone-to-Windows File Sharing for Insiders

Microsoft has begun regularly rolling out a function enabling file sharing between iPhones and Windows PCs for customers in its Home windows Insider program. This performance simplifies transferring recordsdata between the 2 units, addressing a standard ache level for iPhone and Home windows customers.

To entry the function, customers want the most recent variations of the related functions. Particularly, the Telephone Hyperlink app on Home windows have to be up to date to model 1.24112.73 or greater, and the Hyperlink to Home windows app on iPhone have to be on model 1.24112.89.0 or greater. Moreover, customers will need to have an iPhone operating iOS 16 or later.

File transfers from an iPhone to a Home windows PC are simple. Customers navigate to the specified file on their iPhone, click on the share icon, and choose the “Hyperlink to Home windows” possibility. They then select the goal gadget to finish the method. For transferring recordsdata from a Home windows PC to an iPhone, customers right-click the specified file, choose “Share,” after which click on on “My Telephone” to provoke the switch.

This new functionality is offered via the Telephone Hyperlink app, beforehand generally known as Your Telephone, which bridges communication and file-sharing between Home windows PCs and cellular units.
