Whereas Konami teased their Tokyo Sport Present 2022 lineup, which features a recreation from a “beloved” sequence, followers are speculating it’s a brand new Suikoden launch.

The hypothesis comes from a newly re-circulated trademark for the Suikoden sequence, filed again in June, however curiously a decade after the final recreation – Suikoden: Woven Internet of the Centuries.

Reasoning behind this new hypothesis is that Japanese voice actor Yuji Kaji will probably be internet hosting Konami’s reveal of the sport. Followers naturally went nuts realizing Kaji was concerned with a number of of the Suikoden video games as his principal roles for Konami over time.

Kaji performed Suikoden II principal character Jowy Atreides in its drama CD (the sport itself had no voice appearing), in addition to the protagonist within the Nintendo DS spinoff Suikoden Tierkreis, and eventually the character Zefon within the last recreation on the PSP.

“As a consultant of the followers from a sequence’ beloved world wide, voice actor Yuki Kaji will seem as a visitor for a stage announcement of a brand new Konami title,” the writer’s schedule reads.

That definitely seems like Kaji is there representing a Konami sequence he’s identified for, doesn’t it? A rumor claims the reveal is a “smaller” undertaking (by way of VGC) in comparison with the opposite rumored revivals Konami reportedly has for Castlevania, Silent Hill, and Steel Gear Stable.

A twentieth anniversary re-release or remaster for the legendary unique video games wouldn’t be due for a couple of years now nevertheless it’s potential Konami is trying to capitalize on sequence creator Yoshitaka Murayama’s non secular successor, Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes, which is about to launch in 2023.
