Infineon And Framework Launch Sustainable Laptop With USB-C And More

Infineon Applied sciences AG, in collaboration with Framework Laptop Inc., is aiming to handle the rising concern of e-waste and disposable laptops by launching the Framework Laptop 16, a customizable, repairable, and upgradeable laptop computer with superior USB-C connectivity, offering shoppers with a sustainable different within the tech trade.

The Framework Laptop computer 16 is the primary client product to assist 180 W and 240 W USB-C, one thing solely made potential by Infineon’s extremely built-in twin/single port USB-C PD controller, EZ-PD CCG8; This controller helps the most recent USB-PD 3.1 normal and allows Framework’s distinctive Growth Card system, permitting end-users to customise ports in response to their preferences.
